Laughing Radish is a community-based Garden and Food Sustainability Educator in Ottawa. Through our holistic approach to gardening and with a smile on our face, we encourage you enjoy the good things in life.
What We Do

Community Gardening:
Food is one thing that connects all people.
We strongly believe that everyone should be able to grow their own food and feel inspired to start their own journey towards food independence.
We host workshops and educational events about food sustainability, food sovereignty, community gardening, community art, advocacy and more!

Affordable Art:
We want to make art accessible and affordable to all. We make art, we teach art and we promote YOUR art within our community network! Come make something beautiful with us!

Professional Facilitation and Gathering:
Gathering intentionally has the power to transform your passions and ideas into strong, community-led movements.
Michaela is a Master’s level, Registered Social Worker (qualifying) with experience and technical specialization in land-based, community-driven program development, facilitation and evaluation.
Laughing Radish would love to help your community learn something new, build solidarity and advocate for justice.
