Members of Laughing Radish’s CSAC will receive a seasonal Art box, lovingly packed with local art and goodies.
It includes over $75 worth of local art, created by Laughing Radish as well as our featured emerging artists!
Laughing Radish is proud to offer a Community Supported Art Club!
The Community Supported Art Club, is similar to a farm-based CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, but it supports Local Artists and creates community connection!
How do you support local artists?
Our CSAC Art boxes will be available for you on or around each seasonal equinox/solstice- that’s 4 boxes per year!
Each box is tailored to help you appreciate and celebrate the upcoming season.

Winter Art Box: Dec. 22nd, 2023
Spring Art Box: March 21, 2024
Summer Art Box: June 21, 2024
Autumn Art Box: September 23, 2024

Pickup will be near Lansdowne Park in Ottawa during a weekend. Details will be confirmed with CSAC Members before each pickup date, when we send out your emailed reminders. If you are unable to pick up your Art box at the designated time- we ask that you contact us to arrange an alternate time to pickup your art box.
Whats included in our CSAC Art Box?
Each Art box will be different and will center around the upcoming season. It will always contain a few key elements, as well as some extra surprises for you to enjoy! All of the art in our CSAC boxes are EXCLUSIVE to CSAC Members- meaning the art created for your seasonal art box will not be found anywhere else!
Some examples of things you will receive in each Art box are:
- Exclusive CSAC-only zines
- Local Art from our featured artist* and the opportunity to meet the artists in person!
- We always try to include something from the Laughing Radish Garden, when possible- this may be an herbal tea blend, an herbal bath soak, a dried spice mix, edible flower jellies/preserves, dried bouquets, etc.
- An Exclusive linoprint- only available to CSAC Members
- and more!
*Each seasonal Art box will feature a different local, emerging artist from the Ottawa region. They will get to fully design and create their featured art piece. You will also get the chance to meet each artist, ask questions and get to know your local makers at the CSAC Art box pickup!
Other surprises you may get in the art box are:
- Handprinted greeting cards, prints, stickers, journals, poetry, textiles/felted art, DIY kits, pottery items, wooden carvings, small-batch candles, and other magical surprises made just for you!
We love surprises and hope you do too- that’s part of what makes the CSAC art box so fun!
The overall content of each box is guaranteed to be worth at least $75, but depending on what we choose to add in each seasonal box… it may end up being worth more!
To sign up:
When you sign up to the Community Supported Art Club, you will be purchasing a full year of seasonal art boxes- that’s 1 box each season for a total of 4 unique art boxes!
Each box costs $60 and you receive a guaranteed value of $75+ worth of art in each box!
Payment by e-transfer is preferred. You can also pay by credit card (but will be charged an additional 3% processing fee by the processing system, therefore we recommend paying by e-transfer).
The total fee for the full year CSAC membership and 4 seasonal art boxes is $240 (that’s 4 art boxes priced at $60/box)
