What happens if I cannot make my Garden Lesson?
If you can no longer make one of your pre-scheduled Garden School lessons, you are able make one reschedule. Send us an email and we will give you a short list of alternative times for you to choose from. We also encourage you to share your lessons with a friend at the original day and time, cause sharing is caring!
How are the Garden School prices set?
We follow a very common “small business pricing” algorithm to set our prices. The algorithm takes into account all associated expenses required to run the business and deliver you an exceptional service. This includes labour wages/workshop execution, time to develop curriculum, supplies and materials for the crafts/projects/gardens, time spent growing seedlings over winter so they’re ready for you in the spring + associated electricity costs, seed costs, tool costs, travel and gas used to and from your house, welcome package gifts, learning resource costs/other things we give to you as part of the program, wildlife habitat certification, domain management, Laughing Radish community/member event costs, business registration expenses, and more. It takes a lot to run a successful business and we are so grateful for your support in making this extraordinary community thrive!
