Donate

Laughing Radish is currently collecting donations to support our MANY environmental and community initiatives. To make a donation and help make these initiatives possible, please send us an email detailing the program you wish to support from the options below. We will follow up with how you can make your donation and make a difference in your community.

If you have an idea for an additional community project, please let us know and we can see how we can help!

Habitat for species at risk: At Laughing Radish, we are constantly trying to improve our habitats for species at risk. We are hoping to install barn swallow nesting boxes, bat houses and resting poles for Eastern Meadowlark in greenspaces and community gardens across Ottawa. We are also hoping to plant milkweed and other native flowers in public community spaces to support our pollinator friends.

Laughing Radish Infrastructure: Laughing Radish is in constant need of tools and supplies to make our educational programs and food production run smoothly. We greatly appreciate any donations towards the purchase of new garden equipment and “kid sized” equipment. We also accept donations of certain used garden tools if you have any that are collecting dust in your shed. Please contact us prior to making the donation, to see if we have a need for the used tool you are offering. Thank you.

Seed Donations: Laughing Radish is proud to support the ongoing development of Carleton University’s very own seed library! If you have any seeds that you would like to donate to this initiative and share with the Carleton community, please reach out and we will be happy to coordinate your seed donation! The Seed Library is scheduled to open in Winter/Spring of 2026.
